Antibes is the whole story on this coast. Every dedicated crew house on the Riviera, Glamorgan, the three Crew Grapevine houses, Debbie's, The Crew House, Bohobos, Crew Lighthouse and Amma's, sits within a few streets of Port Vauban and the old town.

The March to May squeeze

This is the crunch window. Every house here books in short blocks, three or seven nights, rather than open stays, because green crew arrive for the season and turnover is fastest. Several houses run non refundable or partial refund terms, so a wasted booking is real money.

From the bridge

Book the bed before you book the flight. In March the houses fill ahead of the boats.

Straight answers

When should I arrive in Antibes?

Early March. Hiring peaks March to May and April is the single strongest month, so you want to be walking docks before the boats leave the yards, not after.

What does a crew house in Antibes cost?

Roughly EUR 25 to 60 a night for a bunk in a shared room, or EUR 140 to 305 a week. The Crew Grapevine rate card runs EUR 250 a week in January and February and EUR 305 a week from June to September. Private rooms run higher.

Do crew houses in Antibes take deposits?

Some do. Bohobos takes a EUR 50 arrival deposit and refuses check in after 23:00. Crew Grapevine bookings are non refundable and taken by WhatsApp. Read the terms before you send money, and never wire a deposit to a number you have not confirmed.

Your CV is the only thing that walks the dock when you can't.

I read a CV in about thirty seconds. Most green CVs lose me in ten. SeaPapers builds the one a captain expects: yacht fields, department templates, two-page discipline. Build yours before you book the flight.

Find out what your role needs before you book a single course.

Deck, interior, galley and engineering all want different paper, and half of it has an expiry date. See the list for your role, then keep every certificate, medical, passport and visa in one place a boat can open with one link, with an email before anything runs out.

Then store them in the SeaPapers folio.

Both live at SeaPapers. One account, one link to the boat.
