Dubai has no dedicated crew house we could verify across Dubai Marina, Port Rashid, Dubai Harbour or Jumeirah. This is a genuine gap, not a research miss. The YachtNeeds crew accommodation and housing directory category for Dubai returns exactly one result, a mainstream hotel apartment building in Dubai Marina, not a crew house and not a budget option. The mycrewkit entry under crew accommodation turned out on inspection to be an IYT maritime training school with no housing offering at all, evidently mis categorised. A Facebook group references members trading crew house tips informally, which is the honest state of play here: word of mouth and private threads, not a bookable venue.
What crew actually pay
Per a May 2026 Dubai crew management guide, crew share serviced or standard marina area apartments arranged privately or through a landlord or agent, at roughly AED 3,000 to 6,000 per person per month depending on location and how many share.
For a short stay while job hunting or waiting on paperwork, the nearest budget option to the water is Rovers Beach Hostel JBR, in the Jumeirah Beach Residence cluster about 600m from Marina Beach and a short walk along to Dubai Marina's berths. It is well reviewed at 9.0 out of 10, though it is a general backpacker hostel, not crew focused. One other marina area hostel, Marina Budget, turned up with a single bad review noting the phone number does not work and the property is not on Google Maps. Not solid enough to recommend.
The season runs the other way round
Dubai's yachting season is the northern hemisphere winter, roughly October through April, when the fleet and crew demand both peak and competition for a shared apartment is tightest. May to September is quiet and heat driven, with softer rents.
What to budget
There is no published crew house rate band here, because there is no crew house. Budget on hostel dorm prices from the high USD 20s a night as a floor, or the AED 3,000 to 6,000 a month shared apartment figure for anything longer. Booking for the hostel option runs through the booking platforms. For shared apartments it is direct landlord or agent contact.
One approach to ignore
Be wary of any UAE based yacht company contacting you cold about jobs plus housing. A Facebook thread flagged one outfit as a suspected visa and fee scam. That pattern is worth checking before you wire anyone money.

Straight answers
Is there a crew house in Dubai?

What does it cost to live in Dubai as crew?
Roughly AED 3,000 to 6,000 per person per month for a shared serviced or standard apartment in the marina area, depending on location and how many share. For a short stay, budget on hostel dorm prices from the high USD 20s a night as a floor.
When is the season in Dubai?
The opposite of the Mediterranean. Dubai's yachting season is the northern hemisphere winter, roughly October through April, when the fleet and crew demand both peak and shared apartment competition is tightest. May to September is quiet and hot, with softer rents.
