Straight answers

When should I arrive in Palma?

March. Hiring traffic peaks March through June, with a smaller wave in late September and October, and the crew houses fill before that peak arrives.

What does a crew house bed cost in Palma?

Dedicated crew house beds start around EUR 20 to 25 a night for a basic shared room. A budget hostal double runs roughly EUR 18 to 65 depending on the season. A monthly furnished flat through an agency runs into the low thousands.

Which Palma crew accommodation should I avoid?

SUYT. Its site is now a parked domain and a Tripadvisor forum thread titled "Avoid the rental agency Suyt.es" describes an unadvertised cash only check in fee, a refusal to issue a second key, and a damage claim raised after checkout. Treat any guide still naming it as stale.

Your CV is the only thing that walks the dock when you can't.

I read a CV in about thirty seconds. Most green CVs lose me in ten. SeaPapers builds the one a captain expects: yacht fields, department templates, two-page discipline. Build yours before you book the flight.

Deck, interior, galley and engineering all want different paper, and half of it has an expiry date. See the list for your role, then keep every certificate, medical, passport and visa in one place a boat can open with one link, with an email before anything runs out.

Then store them in the SeaPapers folio.

Both live at SeaPapers. One account, one link to the boat.
